Game 2 of the NBA finals is in the books and the Miami Heat have tied up the series at 1-1 after defeating the Spurs 98-96 . Now that Miami has took the home court advantage away from the Spurs, if they can win their games at home (which they have done very well in the playoffs at home so far), they can win this series. And on the other hand, now that the Spurs have lost home court, and this means that now for them to take home the NBA Title, they must win a game in Miami, which is easier said then done.

Who were the stars in this game for both teams?

Miami Heat:

Let's start with LeBron James, who had the Heat's only double-double with 35 points and 10 rebounds. It seems that whenever Lebron has an amazing game the Heat end up with a win, with Game 2 being one of those wins. A interesting stat to look at: LeBron was perfect from behind the arc, going 3-3 scoring 9 points. Another star for the team was Dwyane Wade, who had 14 points and 7 rebounds. Those stats dont seem like they are star caliber, but when someone on your team scores 30+, it makes it where you dont have to do as much. Wade did all of the little things, and kept everything flowing and balanced. The Heat knew they didnt want to be down 2-0 going home to Miami, and they showed that they weren't letting that happen by winning game 2.

San Antonio Spurs:

The man himself, Tim Duncan, was the big star for the Spurs tonight, racking up his team's only double-double. He had 18 points and 15 rebounds. When you compare Duncan's points to LeBron's, we know it doesn't seem like he was a star, but it was every aspect to Duncan's game. Sometimes the stat lines don't show the whole story. He just had a great all-around game and that is why he is the main star for his team. Another star for the Spurs, Tony Parker, led his team with 21 points and 7 assists. For Tony Parker, once again, when you compare his stats to James', they don't compare, but unlike with LeBron's team, the Spurs got a lot of help from everyone on their team as the whole squad played at a good level. So, Duncan and he didn't need a 30+ plus night. The Spurs now know they must win a game in Miami to win the Title, and they will try to get that took care of Tuesday, June 10th, 9 P.M. Eastern Time.

Prediction For The Series:

Game 3 Heat win

Game 4 Spurs win

Game 5 Spurs win

Game 6 Heat win

Game 7 Spurs win

Spurs win series 4-3
