The Phoenix Suns wowed some people with their unexpected pick of T.J Warren. The 6' 8" 220 pound small forward out of NC State can absolutely score the basketball. Warren led the ACC last season in scoring (24.9 ppg), rebounding (7.1 reb) and field goal percentage (53%). Warren is said to be an elite mid-range shooter and finisher around the basket. He also led the nation with 31 games of scoring 20 or more points.

Four picks later, the Suns picked a player who is used to rocking a orange jersey in Tyler Ennis of Syracuse. The 6' 2" 182 pound point guard was honored as a member of the All-ACC 2nd team lst season. Ennis is a very matured and poised player for his age, which is displayed through his passing and ability to make a minimal amount of mistakes.

Phoenix capped off their trio of first round picks by selecting Bogdan Bogdanovic of Serbia. Bogdanovic is big sooting guard at 6' 6" 200 pounds. Bogdanovic isn't a flashy player, but was named the rising star guard of the European basketball league. It is unknown if Bogdanovic will be available to play in the NBA right away.

The Suns used their final pick to select Alec Brown with the 50th overall pick. The 7' 1" 231 pound center from Green Bay was one of the best shooters from three at the combine among all players. Brown was a two-time 1st Team All-Horizon League player, with 309 career blocks (tied for most in Horizon League history).
