After striking out on several marquee costless agents this offseason, the Houston Rockets have signed Joey Dorsey and Jeff Adrien to play reserve roles in the Rockets' front court.

Dorsey's contract is a two-year, $2 million deal while Adrien's is one-year for the league minimum.

Dorsey last played for Barcelona during the 2013-14 season. During Euroleague play he averaged 5.3 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting an impressive 67 percent from the field, but only 44 percent from the costless throw line.

In college, Dorsey played four seasons for the University of Memphis from 2004-2008. At Memphis he was teammates with current NBA players Derrick Rose and Chris Douglas-Roberts. In 2008 Dorsey started for the Memphis team made it to the NCAA Championship game, losing to Kansas in overtime.

This won't be the first time Dorsey has suited for the Rockets in his career. Portland selected the 6'9" big man with the 33rd pick of the 2008 draft, and he was then traded to Houston. However, Dorsey played only 10 games for the Rockets in his career, and also made brief stints in Sacramento and Toronto before heading overseas.

Adrien went undrafted in 2009, but has had a more successful NBA career than Dorsey. The 6'7" power forward played one season in Spain, then was picked up by the Golden State Warriors for the 2010-11 season. Adrien has remained in the league since then, appearing in 136 games for four different teams, most recently the Milwaukee Bucks.

Like Dorsey, Adrien also has history with the Houston Rockets, appearing in eight games for the team during the 2011-12 season.

Prior to his pro career, Adrien played four seasons at the University of Connecticut, making the Final Four in 2009.
