The Atlanta Hawks are now among the list of teams that will attempt to pursue Warriors forward Draymond Green in free agency.

Green is a restricted free agent, and it is expected that Golden State will match any offer made for him. Atlanta's interest in Green is most likely coming from the possibility of losing all-star forward Paul Millsap in free agency. Millsap is an unrestricted free agent. The Hawks will also have their hands full trying to re-sign their small forward DeMarre Carroll as well.

Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reported that Green is listening to all offers.

"Despite the expected interest from Golden State and Detroit, Green told Yahoo Sports he would do his due diligence with all suitors when free agency arrives Wednesday. The Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets are also expected to be among the teams interested in Green, a source said. The 2015 first all-NBA defensive team selection said he is open to face-to-face team visits with any serious free-agent opportunity, too."

Green also told Spears that he is not coming into free agency with any expectations because "that's when it gets frustrating." Green is coming off his best season yet as he was named to the NBA all-defensive first team and averaged 11.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.3 blocks.

Green could provide plenty of versatility for Atlanta on both ends of the floor if he does surprisingly sign with them. However, Green's stock is very high at this moment, and the Warriors will not let the "heart and soul" of the team go elsewhere.

NBA free agency officially starts on July 1st.
