After wrapping up his meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers, DeAndre Jordan remains "truly 50-50" and "torn" on choice between the Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

It's also been reported by Brad Turner of the L.A. Times that DeAndre Jordan is next expected to make a decision in the next 24 hours.

If that's the case that may also lead to Wesley Matthews postponing his choice in teams until he knows what DeAndre Jordan decides. Wesley Matthews and DeAndre Jordan would reportedly like to play with one another, but that is only feasible in Dallas.

Currently, as it stands, it would seem that if DeAndre Jordan were to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers then Wesley Matthews would still likely choose the Dallas Mavericks with the Toronto Raptors still in play. ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that Matthews will unlikely accept the Sacramento King's offer and his preference is still the Dallas Mavericks which may help Jordan in choosing Dallas. The Mavericks are so still in the running for LaMarcus Aldridge but have instead focused most of their attention on luring Jordan since Day 1 of free agency.

Speaking of LaMarcus Aldridge he may too have a hand in all of this because it's possible that he signs with the Los Angeles Lakers and as a result brings DeAndre Jordan with him but the probability of that happening isn't too high.

DeAndre Jordan has been impressed with both the Clippers and Mavericks presentations and like what is being offered to him by both sides.

If Jordan stays with the Los Angeles Clippers, he'd be staying with a championship contender that has only improved from last season with the acquisitions of Paul Pierce and Lance Stephenson. On the other hand, there are legitimate reports that he and Chris Paul don't get along and that has caused friction between Jordan and the All-Star point guard.

Jordan, however, is looking to have a bigger role on whichever team he decides to play for and it'd be seemingly hard for that to happen in L.A with Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and now Paul Pierce in the mix.

This is where Dallas looks intriguing because they desperately need a center and a young rising star to pair with Chandler Parsons and an aging Dirk Nowitzki. Also if Jordan ends up deciding on the Mavericks then Wesley Matthews is likely to follow and now there's a nice young core of DeAndre Jordan, Chandler Parsons and Wesley Matthews for the foreseeable future.

DeAndre Jordan is a Texas native and is enticed about the opportunity to expand his horizons and be a first or second option on a team such as the Mavs. But at the same time, he likes living in Los Angeles and it's hard to leave a championship-caliber team.

Jordan's decision will ultimately come down to whether he wants to be the third or fourth best player on a contender or if he wants to be the so called 'man' on a Mavericks team close to the end of the Dirk Nowitzki era.

Time will tell and it may be until the holiday weekend before an announcement is made. Stay tuned.
