The Cleveland Cavaliers won by five points against the Minnesota Timberwolves, 78-73, in a Summer League game. LeBron James attended this game, sitting alongside GM David Griffin, coach David Blatt, and assistant coach Tyrone Lue. 

For the Cavs, John Shurna led the way with 14 points while grabbing six rebounds and draining four three-pointers off the bench. Shurna played four years of college at Northwestern University and has played in Europe for the last three years. Rakeem Christmas put in 10 points on 4 of 7 from the field to go along with two rebounds and blocked two shots. Christmas was the 36th overall pick in this year's draft and played four years at Syracuse University.

D.J. White finished with 10 points on a perfect 4 of 4 from the field and 2 of 2 from the free-throw line and collected four rebounds. White was the 29th overall pick in the NBA draft back in 2008 and played four years of college at Indiana University. White was the big 10 player of the year in 2008. He has played overseas in China and Spain and has also played in 138 NBA games throughout his career. Keifer Skyes added 10 points on 5 of 6 from the field off the bench. Skyes was undrafted this year and played college at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Talib Zanna put in eight points and gathered four rebounds off the bench. Zanna was undrafted in 2014 and played college at University of Pittsburgh. Joe Harris, however, has struggled with his shot once again in the Summer League as he went 2 of 11 from the field and 1 of 6 from three-point range. The Cavs shot 43 percent from the field as a team, and they were only 26 percent on 5 of 19 from three-point range but they held the Timberwolves to 73 points on 39.7 percent from the field. Sir'Dominic Pointer made two clutch free throws with 7.5 seconds left in the game to make it a two possession game, 78-73, which closed the game out with a win for the Cavaliers. 

For the Timberwolves, Lorenzo Brown led the way with 19 points on 8 of 15 from the field, including two assists. Lorenzo Brown was the 52nd pick in the 2013 NBA draft and has played 55 games in his NBA career for the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves. Brown started seven games for the Minnesota Timberwolves this past season and may become a significant player off the bench for them in the upcoming season. Brown also has spent time in the D-League for the past two seasons.

Adreian Payne posted a double-double with 14 points on 5 of 14 from the field and plucked 15 rebounds. Payne was the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft and played four years at Michigan State University. Tyus Jones put up 11 points on 5 of 9 from the field and dished out four assists. Jones, the 24th overall in this year's draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night. He played one year of college ball at Duke University and led Duke to win the 2015 NCAA Championship.

Karl-Anthony Towns scored nine points on just 2 of 8 from the field and snatched four rebounds. Towns was the number one pick in this year's draft out of Kentucky, as he played for Kentucky for one year and led them to the 2015 NCAA Final Four. Othyus Jeffers posted eight points and picked up five rebounds. Jeffers has played in 35 NBA games in his career for four different teams. 

The Timberwolves shot just 39.7 percent from the field and were only 17.6 percent on 3 of 17 from three-point range and 66.7 percent on 16 of 24 from the free-throw line. They had chances to win this game but came up short, losing by five points to the Cavaliers.
