Duke's freshman Vernon Carey Jr. has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.

He joins Cassius Stanley and Tre Jones as the Blue Devils who will enter de draft process.

Carey played 31 games at Duke, averaging 17.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. The teenager, who is the son of former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Vernon Carey Sr., is projected to be a first round pick according to Jeff Goodman from ESPN

The 19 year-old was named ACC Rookie of the Year, ACC 1st Team, ACC Freshman Team and CBS Freshman of the Year.

“He came every day looking to get better, and I know the best is yet to come for him,” coach Mike Krzyzewski said in a statement.
