The Tokyo Olympics may be postponed until 2021, but Spencer Dinwiddie from the Brooklyn Nets has already made his decision regarding which nation he will represent.

The Nets Guard is acquiring a Nigerian passport to play for the Nigeria national team.

Dinwiddie, who didn’t receive Team USA Olympic invite, joins Nigeria roster that includes Al-Farouq Aminu, Josh Okogie, Chimezie Metu, Ekpe Udoh.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the Golden State Warriors Assistant Coach, Mike Brown, was named the Nigeria head coach.

Next year, will be the third time in a row (and in history) that the Nigeria Men's Basketball team will participate in the Olympic Games.

Back in February, Team USA revealed a 44-player list featuring the finalists  prior to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. The list included names like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Play Thompson, Kevin Durant, among other.
