Led by Juan Toscano-Anderson, some members of the Golden State Warriors roster took over the streets in Oakland to protest regarding the latest incidents in the country.
The protest was held at Lake Merritt, where aside from Toscano-Anderson, Stephen & Ayesha Curry, Klay Thompson and Damion Lee also joined the cause.
Toscano-Anderson, who is the only Mexican player in the NBA, dropped some gems during the protest, supporting the hispanic race aside from the African-Americans.
“Being a Mexican and black is a luxury....don’t let nobody tell you differently.”
