The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) has approved the 22-team return format for the NBA, so as the players, coaches and all 28 player representatives, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.

It was also confirmed that the NBA/NBPA will conduct coronavirus testing every night during the resumed season in Orlando. If a player tests positive, he will be held in isolation (quarantine) for a minimum of seven days.

The NBA plans to hold 2 to 3 preseason scrimmages per team before the regular season begins on July 31. It has been discussed the possibility of using NBA2K crowd sounds during the regular season and playoffs to improve the quality of games.

Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN was informed of a plan where players' families, likely three members at a time, would be allowed to join players in Orlando after the first-round of the playoffs. Players and families won't be allowed to go on park rides while staying on the Disney World campus.
