With the most recent rule by the NBA allowing teams to have 17-player rosters, the Sacramento Kings have added a veteran to their squad in order to make a playoff push in the West.

Shams Charania from The Athletic reported that Corey Brewer will be joining the Kings for the resumed season in Orlando.

Brewer,  who played in 24 games for Sacramento at the end of the 2018-19 season, will look to add solid leadership from his 13 year NBA career.

The 34 year-old last played a game in the association at the end of last season, and he has averaged 8.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game through 814 career games.

Luke Walton's team heads to Orlando 3.5 games back of eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, currently tied with the Portland Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans.
