The Spurs have signed the Center Tyler Zeller according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.

San Antonio will try to fill the spot LaMarcus Aldridge left, considering he'll be out for the rest of the season following a shoulder surgery.

Zeller, who only has 166 career starts, has played for six different teams since his arrival to the league in 2012. He last played in the NBA in the 2018-19 season with both the Hawks and Grizzlies.

The 30 year-old from California has career averages of 7 points and 4 rebounds per game.

The Spurs postseason streak is in jeopardy, since they have made the playoffs every single year since the 1996-1997 season, and they are currently five games behind the 8th. seed.

Tyler Zeller’s deal with the Spurs includes a non-guaranteed second year in 2020-21.
