You can't spell SWAG without S-G-A, and the Thunder guard knows it. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander keeps making a fashion statement in the league, and has now signed a multi-year sneaker deal with Converse.

Gilgeous-Alexander joins Kelly Oubre Jr. and Draymond Green as the only players in the NBA to have a shoe deal with Converse.

“I just saw originality, expression and creativity,” Shai said. “I’m a guy that wants to stand out. Be different from the pack.”

The Kentucky product first signed with Nike when he joined the league back in 2018, but he felt it was time for a change, and will be wearing Converse as soon as the resumed NBA season begins.

'SGA' revealed that the way Kelly Oubre Jr. from the Suns was able to express his feelings through the shoes, was one of the reasons he decided to sign with the brand.

"I saw some of the stuff that Kelly [Oubre Jr.] was doing and how he was able to express his personality and his vibe through his shoes," Gilgeous-Alexander said. "I thought it was dope."

The Thunder guard has established as the 'drip-king' in the NBA, and has made yet another statement in the fashion game.
