The New Orleans Pelicans player, Zion Williamson has been getting tested daily for coronavirus while being away from team. The rookie has continued to produce negative results but it's still unknown when he will come back to Orlando.

The Pelicans released an official statement clarifying that Zion fully intends to rejoin the team.

If he keeps testing negative for Coronavirus each day he's away from campus, Zion will be required to quarantine for 4 days. If not, he might be looking up to a two-week quarantine at 'the bubble'.

Williamson left the NBA campus at Orlando to tend to an urgent family medical matter.

The Pelicans will play their first 'seeding game' on July 30th. against the Utah Jazz. If Alvin Gentry's squad don't have Zion for the restart, is looking very unlikely they can squeeze into the eight seed of the Western Conference.

After missing the first 44 games while recovering from preseason arthroscopic knee surgery, the rookie is averaging 23.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
