The National Basketball Association (NBA) has released an official statement confirming the 2020 Draft. ESPN’s Bristol, Connecticut studios will host the virtual 2020 NBA Draft presented by State Farm on Wednesday, November 18, at 7 p.m. ET.

The event will air live on ESPN, ESPN Radio and the ESPN App. This is the first NBA Draft to be held at ESPN’s Bristol, Connecticut studios.

Commissioner Adam Silver and Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum will announce the selections from ESPN's studios on November 18 for the first and second rounds, respectively. The players who get selected, including many of the potential top picks, will appear virtually.

The draft, which was first expected to be held October 16, was originally scheduled to be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The Timberwolves will make the first selection in the 2020 NBA Draft.  Minnesota, who ended the season with the league's third-worst record, will be followed by the Golden State Warriors, who had the worst record, and then the Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls to complete the top 4.
