Horrible news for the NBA family, as Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson has suffered an apparent lower leg injury and is undergoing tests to determine the severity of it.

The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Thompson was unable to place weight on his lower leg injury when leaving the gym.

Let's remember Thompson missed the 2019-2020 season with a torn ACL in his left knee, which he suffered during the 2018/2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

Through eight seasons as a pro, Thompson has averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game to go along with 41.9% shooting from beyond the arc. The five-time All-Star played a central role in the Warriors' championship runs in 2015, 2017, and 2018.

NBCS' Monte Poole stated Thompson's leg injury 'looked bad', but his sources weren't ready assume catastrophic.

Four-time NBA Champion and Lakers star, LeBron James took over social media to send his best wishes to Thompson.
