Domantas Sabonis is one of the most underrated players in the association. The European has managed to remain de Indiana Pacers relevant in the East.

Now, Indiana will have to survive a couple of games without the All-Star forward.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sabonis will be evaluated day-to-day, as he was diagnosed with a bruised knee.

Prior to the injury, Sabonis had a franchise-record streak of 16 consecutive double-doubles to open the season. According to the NBA, he is one of just six players since the ABA-NBA merger to start the season with 15 straight double-doubles.

The 24 year-old is having the best season of his career so far, averaging 20.9 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists.
