The North Carolina State Wolfpack (2-0) travel to Florida where they will take on the South Florida Bulls (1-1) on Saturday.

North Carolina State took care of Old Dominion last Saturday, 46-34 and defeated Georgia Southern 24-23 in week one. The Wolfpack produced 495 yards, however, the defense struggled and gave up 504 yards to Old Dominion. The offense has lost both quarterbacks who started last year, Brandon Mitchell and Pete Thomas. The team handed the offense down to Jacoby Brissett. The Florida transfer played an impressive game last week. Brissett completed 21 of 29 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. If the Wolfpack want to compete in the ACC this year the defense will need to step up quickly.

The South Florida Bulls lost to the Maryland Terrapins last Saturday 24-17. They won their season opener in week one. They held a three point lead at halftime, but were unable to score. The Bulls produced only 257 yards, only 83 yards rushing. Freshman starting quarterback Mike White went down early with an injury. Back-up quarterback Steven Bench came in a completed 14 of 36 passes for 162 yards, he also threw an interception. It looks like it will be a few more years before the Bulls can compete in the AAC and against high ranking opponents.

If South Florida can force a few turnovers they should be able to win at home this weekend. North Carolina State have a good quarterback in Brissett. If Brissett can take advantage of a weak South Florida secondary they will have a good chance of winning this football game.
