Kickoff for the Peach Bowl is scheduled to take place at 12:30 PM EST, live from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. The Ole Miss Rebels will be the de facto away team, while the TCU Horned Frogs will be the home team.

One slight benefit that TCU may have in this game is the date that each team last played on. Ole Miss last played on November 29 when they defeated Mississippi State. TCU's last game was one week later, when they defeated Iowa State at home. The difference between a 32-day wait and a 25-day wait may help the Horned Frogs ever so slightly, in the case the Ole Miss has some rust due to the long layoff.

Ole Miss is missing their top receiver, Laquon Treadwell, who was injured in the loss to Auburn. Without his favorite target on the field, Bo Wallace will need to rely on his running game to help alleviate some of the pressure offensively. Jaylen Walton, the leading rusher for the Rebels, will need to have a good day against TCU for his team to win. The Horned Frogs have a stout defense, but they have been prone to giving up big plays from time to time. Walton needs to have a high yards per carry average all game long to keep his team in the running. Don't be surprised to see Wallace run the ball himself more than he normally would as well.

When TCU is on offense, wide receiver Kolby Listenbee is going to be a crucial part of the game. The sure-handed junior from Arlington, Texas, has had a solid 2014 campaign after being used minimally in his first two seasons in Fort Worth. While not the team's top receiver, Listenbee has been a steady target for Boykin all season long. Against the strong Ole Miss defense, which will work all game long to cut off easy passing lanes, Listenbee will need to step up and provide his quarterback an easy option in the Horned Frogs' air attack.

Both TCU and Ole Miss have been very impressive against ranked opponents throughout the season. Ole Miss is 3-2 against ranked teams (including 2-1 against top five ranked teams), while TCU is 4-1 against ranked teams, their lone loss coming against Baylor in Waco.

This is going to be a strong defensive matchup, pitting two of the best defensive squads in the nation against one another. The Landshark defense of Ole Miss has the top scoring defense in the nation this season, allowing just 13.8 points per game. TCU is ranked 18th, allowing just 20.3 per game. The efficiency of the passing game for both teams will be crucial for either team to win on Wednesday.

Trevone Boykin has become the star of the Horned Frogs and has really stepped up since the team lost their top playmaker, BJ Catalon. A team normally known for their stout defense, TCU's offense has been stellar this season. An efficient passer, throwing just nine interceptions this season, Boykin uses his legs and natural athleticism to tear apart defense. If Boykin is able to attract extra defenders and subsequently open up the field for long pass plays, the Horned Frogs will thrive against Ole Miss.

#9 ranked Ole Miss is known for their defensive prowess, but quarterback Bo Wallace will need to perform as well as he has all season to compete with TCU. Wallace has had an up and down season, at times playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, at other times making bizarre decisions that have cost the Rebels wins. Bo Wallace had his highest rated season of his career during this most recent campaign, with 22 touchdown passes and just 11 interceptions. He will need to play efficiently if the Rebels have any chance of winning the Peach Bowl.

There were weeks upon weeks of arguments in favor of both programs, over who should be the true Big 12 champion and who should reach the College Football Playoff. In the end, a lack of a title game in the conference hurt both teams, as neither made it to the playoff. The Horned Frogs were dropped from #3 to #6 in the final two polls of the season.

TCU seemed like a lock to make it into the first ever College Football Playoff this season. Gary Patterson's team spent much of the season as one of the top four teams in the rankings. A great deal of controversy surrounded the team, as they played very well throughout the season, finishing 11-1, but their lone loss came against Baylor, another team which finished 11-1.

Both of these teams have had exciting and controversial seasons to this point. The Rebels spent the entire first half of the season atop the rankings, even taking down the current #1 seed Alabama. Ole Miss would eventually succumb to several losses, including one in the Egg Bowl against rival Mississippi State.
