Jameel Warney led the way with his 21st double double (24 points, 14 rebounds) of the season and Deshaun Thrower scored a career high 18 points as Stony Brook overcame a twelve point half time deficit to beat Vermont 79-77. In the first half Vermont jumped out to a 41-29 lead by shooting 8-12 from three. Jameel Warney opened the second half with a three point play which ignited a 30-6 run by Stony Brook. Carson Puriefoy had 10 of his 17 points durign he run and Stony Brook used a 40-28 advantage on the glass to dominate the paint. The preseason favorite Seawolves used thier size advantage to out physical the Catamounts and will meet number one Albany in the America East final on Saturday March 14th. 

Vermont was led by Hector Harold (17 points) and Ethan O'Day (14 points). Brandon Hatton added 10 points off the bench. The Catamounts forced a jump ball with 2 seconds left for a chance to tie or take the lead. Ethan O'Day's shot fell short at the buzzer and Vermont ends the eason at 18-13.
