Thomas Bryant, the #22 recruit in the ESPN 100, finally made his decision Saturday afternoon. Coming into today Bryant had several schools that were recruiting him: Indiana, Missouri, Florida, Kentucky, Miami, Ohio State, Seton Hall, Syracuse, UCLA, Villanova, and West Virginia. With the spotlight on him, the 6-foot-10, 230 pound Bryant verbally commited to Indiana University. Bryant, visited Indiana officially last fall and again for the Hoosiers' regular-season finale against Michigan State.

Bryant explained why he chose Indiana."I just wanted to come here and be on TV and say that I'm committing to Indiana to play college basketball next year," Bryant said. "I'm very excited. I've been thinking about this long and hard. I've been talking it over with my mom and coaches. We just felt like being at Indiana was the best decision for me."

Standing at 6-foot-10 and one of the best rebounders in the 2015 class, Indiana certainly filled a big hole in the post. According to Rivals, Bryant is coming off of a strong week at the McDonald’s All-American Game, as he displayed a high-running motor and a developing skill set. He’ll likely be in line for a bump up the final rankings of most national evaluators because he’s had a very good senior season at Huntington Prep.

Bryant joins recruits Juwan Morgan and Ogugua Anunoby. This is the fifth-consecutive recruiting class Indiana has signed that has included a McDonald's All American. Bryant is a five-star prospect, according to recruiting service 247Sports, making him the highest-ranked player in IU's class.
