It was inspiring win for BYU as they topped Nebraska in one of the craziest college football moments of the year.

With starting quarterback Taysom Hill out for the rest of the game, backup Tanner Mangum had to chance to lead the Cougars to a win in Nebraska against a tough Cornhusker team.

With one second left in the game, Mangum dropped back, slid right and heaved a prayer toward the right side of the end zone. The ball floated in the air and landed in the hands of wideout Mitch Matthews in the endzone. It gave BYU a stunning 33-28 win over Nebraska.

But BYU will be without quarterback Taysom Hill for another year as it was announced he would be out for the remainder of the season with a foot injury. Now it's time for Tanner Mangum to show what he's got. He came off the bench versus Nebraska and played well but he will facing a tougher defense against Boise State. He will facing a secondary that only gave up a 150 yards against Washington in the air and held firm against the Huskies. It will be a tough battle for BYU on offense.

It was a narrow victory for Boise State as they escaped with a win at home over Washington. After having a double digit lead going into halftime, the Broncos nearly gave up the game but its defense stuffed Washington on a potential game winning drive to seal the win.

It wasn't a convincing win for Boise State but it helped them move up three spots to #20 in the AP Top 25.

The Broncos will be looking for more production out of their offense which seemed to hit a wall in the second half. In his first start Ryan Finley failed to impress as he looked caught up in the moment. Look for the Broncos to rely on the running game as Jeremy McNichols had a great game against Washington.

But if Finley can get the passing game going, Boise State will be in business. They will be facing a BYU secondary that gave up over 300 yards to Nebraska and look for Finley to try to exploit that. He is still learning the system and BYU will be another learning game for Finley.

It will be a defensive game for both teams. Both offenses are inconsistent at the moment. BYU just lost their starting QB and Boise State is still helping their new one adjust to being a starter.

Although the odds look to be against them, this is an inspired BYU team. The Hail Mary couldn't have come at a more perfect time. BYU should use the game as inspiration as they welcome Boise State to Provo
