Just when Kentucky looks to be slowing down in the recruiting trails, they show the world, once again, what they are all about; getting talent.

Top 10 recruit and elite point guard prospect De'Aaron Fox announced his commitment to the University of Kentucky Thursday evening. The guard went new-school, pulling up a picture of the UK logo on his phone to show to the camera.

With this new addition, Kentucky now moves to the 3rd best class for 2016. The Wildcats trail only Duke and Michigan State for the #1 class.

Fox joins 3 other Wildcats in the class; PF Sacha Killeya-Jones, PF Wenyen Gabriel, and C Tai Wynyard who plans on enrolling at Kentucky in the spring.

Fox is an athletic guard, standing 6'4 but rarely looking it mid-game. This point guard has freakish jumping ability and stares down at the rim. Distributors with this kind of explosiveness don't come around very often; at least for anyone not named John Calipari.

With Kentucky's abundance of guards this season it's surprising to see a commitment from a back court player this early. Guards considering Kentucky will likely wait until the end of the season to find out who leaves for the NBA.

Fox is an exception as he will get minutes no matter who is returning. There is too much talent and too much potential in this player to sit on the bench. Fox will get plenty of playing time at UK and will find himself atop many Draft projections.

With Calipari's success with point guards in the past, Fox had little choice but to choose Kentucky. There have been a few guards in the past who have slipped through the cracks, but when Calipari gets it right, he gets it right.

Calipari has found his new leader-to-be for the future, as long as his current players make the impact they look to make.
