Armed Forces Bowl
The Bowl was first played in December 2003, with two teams ranked, No. 18 Boise State and No. 19 TCU. It was the only edition that featured a classified team until the No. 22 Army played in December 2018.
The 2010 and 2011 editions were played at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in University Park, Texas, when Amon G. Carter Stadium was under reconstruction. The game features teams from a variety of college football conferences. Additionally, the independent United States Military (Army) Academy is also eligible to participate. Since 2014, the game has been sponsored by Lockheed Martin and is officially known as the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Previous sponsors were Bell Helicopter (2006–2013) and PlainsCapital Bank (2003–2004).

The match will be played at Amon G. Carter Stadium
It is named after Amon G. Carter, a prominent Fort Worth businessman, newspaper publisher, and city promoter. It has several popular nicknames, among which are The Carter and Hell's Half Acre, this in reference to the past of the Wild West of Fort Worth, which was located near the stadium, as well as the difficulty that rival teams have to win in the stadium.
