Auburn Tigers: run the ball

If Auburn Tigers want to get the win this Tuesday, they will have to impose their ground game as they did throughout the season where they averaged 164.3 ground yards. In addition, they had a rather complicated campaign with a record of 6 wins and 6 losses, highlighting that they finished with four losses in a row, including the most recent one in overtime 24-22 against Alabama Crimson Tide.

Houston Cougars: balanced offense

If Houston wants to win this bowl, they will have to find the balance between the ground and air game, points that allowed them to have a good season and led them to score 37.3 points per game, despite averaging only 270.7 yards per game through the air.

Houston finished with an 11-2 record and the key game was the last one when they lost 35-20 for the conference title against the Cincinnati Bearcats.
