4:16pm EST: So that's all she wrote, folks. Remember to follow VAVEL USA's live inline of St Louis Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers for more NFL action!

4:14pm EST: Some stats for you now. For the Saints: Drew Brees 27/40, 2 TDs and 1 INT. Jimmy Graham 10 receptions, 118 yards, 2 TDs. For the Browns: Brian Hoyer, 24/40 and 1 TD. Terrance West 19 rushes, 68 yards and 1 TD.

4:10pm EST: Whew! What a match, where Cleveland Browns blew an early 13 point lead to go behind by eight, but rallied in the second half to stun the Saints and move to 1-1. New Orleans, meanwhile, fall to 0-2.

4th quarter, 0:00: BROWNS WIN! A squib kick means Saints can't return it for a touchdown, and the Browns win their first home opener in 10 years and first match of any kind in nine matches. What a thrill ride!

4th quarter, 0:03: CUNDIFF! Field goal from 29 yards gives the Browns a lead they're unlikely to rescinder from now! What a drive by Hoyer and the Browns.

4th quarter, 0:06: Hawkins with a huge reception! He was wide open and catches on the 12, Cundiff will wrap this up now

4th quarter, 0:15: The ruling stands and an extra seven seconds go on the clock, so Browns have this game to lose now.

4th quarter, 0:08: Austin makes the catch on the 38 yard line, but the play goes under review. Browns have one more timeout left so they can get an extra few yards and try make the winning kick easier for Billy Cundiff.

4th quarter, 0:38: Junior Galette makes a big sack on Hoyer to make it 3rd and 12, but a completion to Gabriel means it's 4th and 7

4th quarter, 1:06: Austin is once again at the center of Browns' offense as he makes a big catch on 3rd and 3. Things are getting tense, with the Browns knowing any score will likely give them their first win in 8 games

4th quarter, 2:00: Sean Payton and Rob Ryan have a domestic on the touchline after Saints give up a penalty, negating a great defensive play, before Austin gets the first down as we enter the final two minutes of the game!

4th quarter, 3:36: More big plays along the ground through Mark Ingram give Saints good position on Browns 31, before Brees is sacked on a huge 3rd and five after nobody picked up Dansby through the middle! Saints punt and Browns restart on their five yard line

4th quarter, 6:53: Graham get his 10th reception of the game, a joint-career high, before Meachem finds a yard on Joe Haden to move the Saints into Browns territory

4th quarter, 8:59: Browns once again go three and out, although they consider going for it on 4th and 3 before electing to punt. No return, so Saints must start on their 10

4th quarter, 12:12: MARK INGRAM! Saints retake the lead with a bullhammer of a rush by Ingram after a good drive got them down to the Browns two. 24-23 Saints!

4th quarter, 13:30: Saints continue where they left off, with Ingram and Meachem both getting receptions. Brees then chucks it away just before getting smashed, showing good awareness.

3rd quarter, 0:00: Saints just get the first down after a strong run by Thomas, and then another one when Brees hits Graham again for his 8th catch of the afetrnoon. Ingram ends the quarter with a two-yard run. We are in for an exciting final quarter!

3rd quarter, 3:19: TOUCHDOWN! TERRANCE WEST finds the gap with ease for his first NFL touchdown and the Browns take a 23-17 lead late in the third! Game on!

3rd quarter, 4:23: Browns continue to drive forward, entering Saints territory thanks to Miles Austin, before Crowell finds a gap and powers through to get to the 23. Good work by the running back

3rd quarter, 7:56: Johnny Football comes back into the game twice, but his first handoff leads to nothing and his first NFL throw is incomplete. Good start. Hoyer rescuses the Browns though, getting the first down by inches

3rd quarter, 9:32: GRAHAM! Saints leadAt 3rd and goal on the one, Graham runs a simple slant route and just about crosses for the touchdown. PAT is good and Saints lead 17-16, their first lead of the day

3rd quarter, 11:00: Brees hits Graham again for a first down before Ingram uses a mazy run to gain 11 yards from a nothing play. Great work by the former Heisman Trophy winner

3rd quarter, 13:00: It's Johnny Manziel! He comes in for one play and makes a hand off, before Hoyer comes back. But Browns are forced to punt away after getting a second penalty in a matter of minutes. Cooks makes a fair catch at the 43

3rd quarter, 14:56: Browns run back the kick off, but after some confusion there's a holding call against them so they'll begin the second half on their 15

Halftime: Saints squib the kickoff and time expires in Cleveland, where the score is Browns 16-10 Saints! Browns will feel they should be ahead by more, but their defense has been more than impressive as they shut down Brees and Graham for most of the match. However in classic Saints style, the pair rocked back and now it's anyone's game!

2nd quarter, 0:03: TOUCHDOWN! JIMMY GRAHAM gets Saints back into the match with an easy catch in the corner of the endzone, beating Joe Haden in the air! PAT is good so it's Browns now up 16-10!

2nd quarter, 0:29: Brees went past John Elway for the 4th-most passing yards in NFL history as he hits Graham three times in a row. Good job, sir. Saints now on 3rd and 10, 18 yards out

2nd quarter, 2:00: Graham finally gets a catch, shaking off a defender with ease to get the first down. Kenny Still also gets a reception and we are at the two minute warning, where it's Browns 16-3 Saints!

2nd quarter, 3:25: INTERCEPTION! Shaun Gibson picks off Drew Brees pass to Jimmy Graham, who still hasn't been hit today, and it's another six points for the Browns on the 62 yard return! They go for the two points on the fake, but Lanning can't get there so it remains 16-3.

2nd quarter, 4:25: Browns forced to punt from their 21 as Cameron Jordan swats down a pass. Cooks returns it to the 30 for the Saints.

2nd quarter, 5:12: BIG HIT! Corey White comes off the edge and is not fooled by the play action, smashing into Hoyer just as he got the ball away. The quarterback looks a bit shaken up but he'll be okay

2nd quarter, 5:20: Browns redzone defense shows their competency, restricting Saints to a field goal to make it 10-3 to the hosts.

2nd quarter, 7:55: Things are starting to look up for the Saints, especially on the ground as Cooks picks up 20 yards on a rush

2nd quarter 8:39: Pass yards for Brees! After recording just nine up to now, he hits Thomas for 11 and a first down. Ingram then picks up 26 yards on a superb rush, before the game is temporarily stopped for a injury to Browns cornerback Joe Haden

2nd quarter, 10:13: Browns build to another first down, and Hoyer tries to go deep but it's defended well by Robinson. A screen play nearly gives them another, but Saints stop them just short and they have to punt again.

2nd quarter, 12:11: Back-to-back rushes from Pierre Thomas give Saints their second first down of the contest. But they can't go any further as Benjamin Watson is stopped two yards short of another. Bizarrely, Browns don't get a returner on the field for the punt so they'll restart in poor field position

1st quarter, 0:00: Saints' redzone defense holds strong again, but Cundiff makes the 32 yard field goal and it's 10-0 Browns!

1st quarter, 1:29:  Browns continue to march down the field, but have to settle or a field goal as Austin can't make the easy catch. Billy Cundiff misses the kick, but Browns get a reprieve as Robinson is caught offside. 1st and 10 Browns

1st quarter, 3:31: Terrance West gains 14 yards on the ground to give Browns a first down, before comically tripping over Hoyer's leg on the next play

1st quarter, 3:45: Browns defense are earning their paychecks and more so far! Brees hasn't been able to get anything going, and his 3rd and 11 pass is swatted down at the line of scrimmage. Third punt already for Saints.

1st quarter, 4:55: Saints get a first down on 3rd and 1, fullback Austin Johnson plowing through to get a couple of yards

1st quarter, 5:59: So, Brees and the Saints have found themselves unable to get going so far. Will this drive be any different? They'll start on the 12 after a poor kickoff return

1st quarter, 5:59: Miles Austin! Touchdown! The receiver easily steps inside Robinson and is wide open to catch Hoyer's pass! PAT is good so it's 7-0 Browns.

1st quarter, 8:00: Good redzone defense from the Saints puts the Browns to 3rd and 12, and despite only making 11 yards on the 3rd, they go for it on 4th and make the extra yard. 1st and goal Browns!

1st quarter, 8:39: Hoyer just tosses one up towards the end zone in a bit of trouble and was lucky not to be picked off. Pass intereference on Saints' Patrick Robinson gives Browns first and 10 on the Saints 14

1st quarter, 9:35: Hoyer starts again at his own 49, and the toss to Terrance West gains a few yards. We have another first down finally as West again gets the yardage

1st quarter, 9:47: Superb defense all round from Browns, excellent pressure from the linemen on Brees as well as great coverage in the backfield. Saints have to punt again

1st quarter, 11:20: SACK! Nothing open for Drew Brees and Paul Kruger gets him down at the 1 yard line! Mark Ingram gets the second down pass, but now Saints face a third and 12

1st quarter, 11:26: Fair catch made at the Saints 8, so Brees will have another go when the game returns

1st quarter, 11:34: Hawkins was wide open for the first down, but Hoyer can't connect and it's punting time

1st quarter, 13:00: Browns waste no time in getting going, getting a first down through the air but are now on third and 6

1st quarter, 14:17: A poor snap puts Brees in trouble on second down, and the Saints go three and out on their opening drive.

1st quarter, 15:00: Browns win the toss but defer, so Brees and co are out on the field first.

1pm EST: The national anthem has been sung to rapturous applause from the Cleveland faithful. Just a minute or two to go now before kick off!

12:55pm EST: Big blow for Browns fans as tight end Jordan Cameron and running back Ben Tate are both confirmed to be inactive for this afternoon.

11:00pm EST: Around two hours until we are underway in Ohio for week two of the NFL season, where the AFC North Cleveland Browns are hosting the NFC South New Orleans Saints.

10:53pm EST: That being said, rule out the Browns at your own peril. Saints defense is still wobbly despite the immeasurable improvement under defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, as shown by the 583 net yards they gave up last week, and if the likes of Terrance West and Jordan Cameron (who is questionable at this stage) can get going early it should be a great contest.

10:48pm EST: Drew Brees, as he so often is, will be a major factor for the Saints today as they look to bounce back. They will be encouraged by the fact the Browns defense gave up 376 passing yards to the increasingly inconsistent Ben Roethlisberger, especially as Brees threw 333 last week, meaning a strong start could pave the way to a Saints victory.

10:41pm EST: Saints are the bookies' favorite for this game, holding a -6.0 handicap, with the over/under being set at 48.5. After a strong showing last week despite the loss, this isn't all that surprising and the 'who dat' faithful will be expecting to be holding a 1-1 record at around 4pm EST.

10:35pm EST: However in more positive news for the Browns, star wide receiver Josh Gordon may have his suspension reduced from 16 games to 10 after the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) voted to approve the league's new drug policy.

10:27pm EST: Browns punter Spencer Lanning will be hoping for a marginally less eventful Sunday than last weekend when he was kicked in the head by Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who was fined $8,200 for failing to successfully hurdle the Cleveland man.

10:21pm EST: It seems controversial Texas A&M alum Johnny Manziel will have to wait for his first start in the NFL, with Brian Hoyer likely to continue calling the shots for Mike Pettine's side. The number 22 pick in this year's draft was expected to be the starter, but after a certain finger-flipping incident during a preseason game against the Washington Redskins he doomed himself to becoming the backup. At least for now.

10:15pm EST: It's been four years since the Browns and the Saints last met on the field, where it was today's hosts who emerged victorious, winning 30-17 in the Louisiana Superdome off the back of four interceptions thrown by Drew Brees. Despite that, the last time Saints traveled to Cleveland back in 2006, they won 19-14 in their only visit to the FirstEnergy Stadium. Also worth noting, that was the first game in the Sean Payton/Drew Brees era in New Orleans.

10:10pm EST: As for today's visitors, the Saints lost in equally as tormenting fashion last week when they fell 37-34 in overtime to division rivals Atlanta Falcons. New Orleans dominated along the ground to take a 20-10 lead at halftime, but Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan threw for a franchise-record 448 yards to mount an impressive comeback, culminating in Matt Bryant's 52 yard field goal in overtime following Marques Colston's fumble.

10:05pm EST: Starting with the home team, the Browns narrowly went down 30-27 at Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday. Despite falling behind 27-3 at halftime, quarterback Brian Hoyer rallied his troops to level the scores early in the fourth quarter. However it wasn't to be for Cleveland, who suffered heartbreak when Shaun Suisham kicked the winning field goal as time expired.

10:00pm EST: Welcome to VAVEL USA's live inline of Cleveland Browns - New Orleans Saints, from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. Both teams lost their opening games last week, meaning this matchup is so important for both teams.
