The Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) travel to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California to take on the San Francisco 49ers (1-2) at 4:25 PM ET on FOX. The Eagles have remained undefeated and they have become the first club in history to win its first three games despite being down by 10 points in each.

The Eagles have averaged 419 yards per game and have averaged 310 yards per game through the air. Quarterback Nick Foles has been very reliable for the Eagles this season. He has completed 61 percent of his passes for 978 yards, six touchdowns and has only thrown two interceptions. It has been helpful because the running game has struggled to produce.

"We stick together and there's a great camaraderie," said Foles, who leads the NFL with 326.0 passing yards per game. "In the locker room during games like that, we lean on each other instead of blaming each other."

Jeremy Maclin loves the fact that Foles is a pass first quarterback. He has benefited with 16 receptions for 296 yards and three touchdowns. He has averaged 18.5 yards per catch. Another wide receiver who has continued to mature is Darren Sproles. He has 14 catches for 196 yards. He doubles as a backup running back.

"We can score quick and we can score in bunches," said Maclin, who is averaging 98.7 receiving yards, the fifth-most in the NFL.

The run game has struggled, especially LeSean McCoy. He has ran the ball 60 times, but only has 175 yards rushing. He is averaging 2.9 yards per carry and has only one touchdown this season. His backup, Sproles, has 17 rushes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He has averaged 6.9 yards per carry. The Eagles will look to get a little more out of McCoy on Sunday.

Collin Kaepernick will lead his unit on the field. The quarterback has completed 70.2 percent of his passes for 694 yards and four touchdowns. His biggest issue is the turnovers. He has four interceptions this season. He also uses hit feet, the dual threat quarterback has scrambled out of the pocket 26 times for 129 yards, but has not found the end zone. San Francisco have only averaged 220 yards per game through the air.

His main targets have been Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree. Boldin has 16 receptions for 168 yards. That is good for 10.6 yards per receptions, but he has not scored a touchdown to this point in the season. Crabtree has a team-high 19 catches, 187 yards, and two touchdowns. He has been the top receiver on this 49ers offense.

Frank Gore has been the main running back this season. He has 35 carries for 139  yards and one touchdown. In his game against Arizona he only took six carries, the lowest in 51 regular-season games. They really need to establish a run game against the "weak" Eagles defense.

"We've been in this position before where there is an ebb and a flow to the season. We're in it now," coach Jim Harbaugh spoke on the fact that the 49ers have yet to score in the fourth quarter. "That's the great challenge for our football team and I have great confidence that we'll attack it."
