Erving is a veristile lineman from Florida State. He has played LT as well as center durring his time at FSU. He was way more succesful at C than LT. It seems like the plan is to place him at RG at the next level due to the long contract that Alex Mack had recieved. Erving has amazing hand work and pushes rushers away from his body well. Erving gets amazing push in the run game as well as guards the pass well from the inside. Yes, he CAN play a tackle position as well, but that should only be in emergency condiitions.
