As it has been the case for the past few seasons, both the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers come in with opposite expectations. It will be another year of Super Bowl expectations for Aaron Rodgers and company while the Bears are expected to be in contention for the first pick in the 2016 NFL Draft

Who will start at wide receiver?

With Kevin White out for possibly the season due to shin surgery and Alshon Jeffrey and Eddie Royal both considered questionable to play Week 1, Jay Cutler might have some new faces to throw against Green Bay.

Look for the Bears to feed Matt Forte plenty of the ball against the Packers. But the play of Jay Cutler will no doubt be key for Chicago. If he can manage the game and not turn the ball over, Chicago could have a chance in this game.

Martellus Bennett will also be in line for a number of targets if Jeffrey and Royal are not able to go.

Aaron Rodgers loves the Chicago Bears defense

Statistically speaking, Aaron Rodgers loves to play the Chicago Bears. His 31 career touchdowns against Chicago are tied for his most against any team he has faced (tied with Minnesota). Chicago is coming in with a very different defense than last year. But they still have shown problems that were present last year. They have depth issues at certain positions and struggled during the pre-season.

Rodgers will have to adapt to change the defensive scheme by Chicago and expect him to do so. Although he is missing his best wideout in Jordy Nelson, expect Randall Cobb to be in line for a big day as Chicago's secondary has been shaky throughout the pre-season and just cut starter Tim Jennings

But Chicago has to have faith in defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. He has a good record against Aaron Rodgers and Chicago fans are hoping that his 3-4 scheme will throw Rodgers off his game.

It's all on Jay Cutler

Although the Bears offense is expected to run the ball more, the X-Factor is still Jay Cutler.

He has shown slight improvements during the pre-season as he reduced his turnovers drastically in those four games. But that was the pre-season, but now is when the games matter.

Likely without his top targets, Cutler will have to be on his A-game as he faces a Packers defense that has feasted on his mistakes.

Chicago will be huge underdogs as they face a Green Bay team that has pounded them the last few years. But if there was a time for Chicago to win, it would be now. Green Bay lost their best wideout and being at home should give Chicago some confidence going into this NFC North matchup.
