It would be easy to suggest that Dorial Green-Beckham may see less time on the field for the Tennessee Titans in this upcoming season, but he doesn’t see it that way.

Tennessee may have gone out and picked up new pieces for their offense, but DGB, as he’s commonly referred to, believes he has made the correct steps and strides towards an even bigger and better 2016 season.

The Titans signed Rishard Matthews from the Miami Dolphins during free agency and drafted Tajae Sharp out of Massachusetts in the fifth round.

This led to many analysts suggesting that DGB has suffered a drop on the team's depth chart and may find himself as a limited target for Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Speaking to TitansOnline, Green-Beckham said he’s suffered a setback this offseason with a hamstring injury, but he’s that gave him the time to take care of himself. He’s also been “learning the playbook” and doing his best to learn how to “play fast.”

DGB is still a raw talent

Coming out of Missouri in last year's draft, many draft analysts see Green-Beckham as having huge potential but still being raw for the first few years. A number even compared him to Randy Moss but he has ways to go if he wants to reach the level set by Moss.

While signing Matthews and drafting Sharp, the Titans still need to find Mariota a go-to wide receiver to target at key times. DGB can be that wide receiver.

With Green-Beckham saying he “more comfortable now” in the NFL, the Titans may just have that go-to wide receiver. DGB also said that he now “pretty much knows” what he needs to do when he’s on the field.

Derrick Henry and DeMarco Murray will offer an improved run game compared to last season, giving the Titans a very different look on offense.

A new look Titans offense?

Last season, the Titans struggled on offense. The run game was lacking and there was little-continued protection to give Marcus Mariota the time to maneuver.

Head Coach Mike Mularkey will be looking to switch it up and give Mariota different options, allowing him to showcase the talent with his feet that he showed during his time in college at Oregon

Green-Beckham is just one part of the Titans offensive revamp.
