The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed their first victory of the 2016 NFL season, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 30-27 at Wembley Stadium in London

In the first AFC South matchup of the season, Blake Bortles connected with the two Allen's, Hurns and Robinson to move the Jags to 1-3 on the season.

For the Colts, they now share a 1-3 record with their opponents after suffering defeat in the 15th International Series game in the British capital.

Jaguars have better of nondescript first-half

In a game between two sides desperate for a divisional win, the game wasn't a great spectacle over the first 30 minutes for the 80,000+ in attendance at the national stadium.

Both Bortles and Andrew Luck had to deal with a number of drops from their recievers, and in Luck's case an inexperienced offensive line which was struggling to keep him on his feet.

The game's first big play saw Dante Fowler sack Luck, forcing the ball loose into the arms of Yannick Ngakoue who took the ball to the Colts 25-yard line.

A couple of strong runs from TJ Yeldon took the ball to the two-yard line, and on first-down, Bortles threw to Allen Robinson who beat Antonio Cromartie with a slant route for the game's first touchdown.

The Colts got themselves on the board with a pair of Adam Vinatieri field-goals, before Jacksonville extended their lead with a second touchdown, this time to Bortles who faked a handoff to Chirs Ivory before running into the endzone.

Hurns weaving TD catch helps Jags claim first win

Trailing 23-6 at the end of the third quarter following three field-goals by Jags kicker Jason Myers, the Colts kickstarted an entertaining final quarter with a touchdown run by Frank Gore.

It was a memorable day for the 'Inconvenient Truth', with Gore moving into the top ten for rushing yards of all-time, overtaking Marcus Allen, Edgerrin James and Marshall Faulk thanks to his 68 yards on the ground at Wembley.

Following a defensive stand, Indianapolis got the ball back, and thanks a couple of penalties on the defence they made their way to the redzone, where Luck hit TY Hilton for a touchdown to cut the deficit to three points.

Suddenly the game came to life, and on the ensuing drive, Bortles threw to Allen Hurns who after beating his man picked up a number of good blocks downfield from his fellow recievers, carving his way up field and into the endzone.

Back down ten, the Colts hit back immediately, and a busted coverage in the Jags secondary allowed for Phillip Dorsett to haul in his only reception of the day, which turned out to be a 64-yard touchdown.

Having saved timeouts, the Colts managed to get the ball back on two occasions, yet failed to move the ball into kicking range, and the Jags held on for a big win which may have saved Gus Bradley's job for the near future.
