The Bears come into this game off the back of their first loss this season at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts last week in a low scoring affair.

The Colts ran out 19-11 winners as the Bears really struggled to get anything going on offense. Nick Foles was back in for Chicago as he threw for 241 yards completed 26 out of 42 passes.

The run game from the Colts gave the Bears an issue last time as they rushed for 103 yards and penetrated them this way and found post of their joy on the run game, something the Buccs may take note of tonight.

The Buccaneers come into this game after a thrilling encounter with the Los Angeles Chargers where Tom Brady picked up five touchdowns.

The former Patriot threw for 369 yards and completed 30 out of 46 passes as the Buccaneers ran out 38-31 winners. Brady's side picked up a total of 484 yards and they will be hoping for similar tonight.

  • Foles vs Brady

This is a Superbowl 52 rematch between Foles and Brady, both quarterbacks had receiving plays in this match, Foles with the Philly special and Brady with a dropped pass and this will be the first time the two have met since the Eagles beat the Patriots.

The two have differed on the stat line this season and this has shown in their ratings as Foles has a 70 rating so far compared to Brady's 88 rating.

Both now with new teams, they will meet again and Foles will need to pull off a masterstroke to defeat Brady and the Buccaneers.

  • Mack vs Barrett

This match may well be decided by the defensive displays from the two teams. For the Bears they will be hoping Khalil Mack can get off the edge, in the face of Brady and prevent the 14-time Pro Bowler from moving the chains.

On the other side the Buccaneers have Shaquil Barrett, the 27-year-old is amongst the best pass rushers in the league and he proved this last year as he lead the league in sacks as he picked up 19.5 across the season, averaging 1.2 per game. Barrett will be hoping to pick up a franchise tag this year and will be looking to put in big performances all season round.

  •  The Verdict

Both teams have had good starts to the season but it is fair to say the Bears have had a reasonably comfortable start playing the likes of the Detroit Lions and New York Giants, this will be their toughest test so far this season.

The Buccaneers are without Chris Godwin for the trip to Chicago and potentially also Mike Evans so it might be time for fifth round pick Tyler Johnson to turn up and be the star man for Tampa Bay on Thursday night.

Brady and co will be confident of making it 4-1 in Chicago.

Score Prediction: Chicago Bears 10-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
