Derrick Henry runs for his 50th career NFL touchdown as well as 1000 yards on the season as the Titans repeat history and do severe damage to Ravens season in the AFC playoff bracket, with a 30-24 win over the Ravens.

Titans run out ahead.

The Ravens start slow as they punt on the first possession. The titans march down the field with a mixture of lofting it out and running it down the Raven's throat into the RedZone. The Titans are second in the NFL with RedZone completion with 76.5 per cent and didn't stutter as Jonnu Smith grabs his eighth touchdown of the season. First time in six games the Ravens have allowed points on their opponents opening drive.

The Ravens determined to come out and level the scoring move, and eight play eight rush drive with takes six minutes off the clock, but Lamar Jackson and company cannot convert on critical drives as the Ravens allow the best kicker in the NFL to do his job. Kick field goals. The best kicker in the league has made 44/46 field goals in the last two season.

End of first quarter Titans 7-3 Ravens

Tannehill made uncomfortable as Ravens find their groove.

Tannehill makes his first mistake as the Ravens defence blitzes four causing Patrick Queen to hit Tannehill as he throws, causing it to be intercepted by Tyus Bowser who takes it 25 yards. Taking the Ravens into the RedZone, a theme had started for the Ravens as they could not convert the turnover into serious points to take the lead and Tucker kicked three more points from 27 yards.

A three and out by the Titans and the Ravens retake over with Jackson realising he can throw on this defence as tight end Mark Andrews (Jackson's favourite target since being in the NFL) takes it 30 yards to put the Ravens in the RedZone. At the second attempt following an overturned touchdown call, JK Dobbins runs it in for six. The Ravens go for a two conversion as Dobbins catches Jackson's attempt. Ravens go back up and feel comfortable in the game.

The titans get a first down their first since the opening drive as Tannehill runs for 15, but that is the Titans only first down until a fake punt gives the Titans another chance, but they go three and out with Tannehill going zero and six since going six for six from his first series. But the Ravens commit a roughing the passer foul on the play and keep themselves on the defence, and with the third try Tannehill gets a completion and nothing else as Ravens defensive end Yannick Ngakoue disrupts Tannehill three consecutive times causing Stephen Gostkowski through for three points.

Halftime Titans 10-14 Ravens

Neither can live while the other survives.

The third quarter starts for the titans as it ended in the second, the offence not able to get a first down resulting in another punt.

Special mention for Dez Bryant who completed his first catch since 31/12/2017. Bryant helps the Ravens head down the field for two first downs before Lamar Jackson throws it 31 yards to a wide-open Andrew for his sixth touchdown of the season. The biggest play of the game and the Ravens ahead by two scores.

With the ball back Tannehill almost takes it personal Jackson had just made the biggest play with going to Corey Davis for 50 yards to take the Titans into the RedZone, but they cannot convert and settle for a field goal.

Ravens look deep to create another big play for another score, but Jackson throws long to Amani Hooker who makes an excellent play for the Titans who pick up the ball back in the Tennessee 15.

Titans 13-21 Ravens

Running, running, running into overtime.

Derrick Henry finally gets the space the running back needed as he runs 33 yards off two plays and gets the Titans into the RedZone, but again Tannehill cannot find his receivers and a field goal is kicked.

The Ravens cannot advance a lot of yards; a costly false start penalty enables the first punt since the first quarter for the Ravens. Tannehill and his offence with Henry on the ground and an excellent combination of AJ Brown and Corey Davis set the Titans in the RedZone. But it is Brown that gets connection for the 14-yard touchdown with the entire backfield pushing him in. The Titans go for two, fake it to Henry and run it in with Tannehill. Titans went 90 yards to take the lead in the fourth quarter.

Two minutes left down three the Ravens head down the field with eight plays getting 65 yards and taking two minutes off the clock, but Jackson cannot find any open receiver, and Tucker will kick it for three. Game is tied. Fifteen seconds left. Tannehill kneels, and the game heads to overtime.

Titans 23-23 Ravens

The Ravens received the ball in overtime, and the Titans defence finally gets a sack today making the Ravens go three and out, the titans receive the ball on their 27-yard line.

Tannehill connects with Davis for 14 yards, and Henry had a four-yard gain which put him over 1000 yards for the season and 100 yards for the game. Brown got in on the action for 11 yards as the Titans get into field goal range. But it was Derrick Henry who found some space and ran for the 29-yard game-winning touchdown.
