Speak up, LaFleur!
"Well, I think it's more the silly bugs we need to clean up," LaFleur said.
“And the thing é – and I appreciate that about Aaron – é just the urgency to correct some of these things . Youê You can't make the same mistake twice, not in this league. We don't have time for that. This is; just long enough for youê win. Surely, he é the final competitor. And I think é good for these guys to feel that because we have to make sure they keep showing progress every day. It will beá a good opportunity today to see how these young people respond.”
“This é the greatest measure of performance – what these guys do end-to-end," LaFleur said. "Anybody can do something once." can you put it together game after game after game? I think this is; only part of the process for some of these young players.”
"He did a "great job on the scrimmage line yesterday, outperforming the press," LaFleur said. "And that é a very salty defense, this é a good defense. They have good curves. Certainly, they have stars at every level of defense. So I thought there were a lot of good things he did and certainly there are; some things he needs to finish – like when youê stays behind the defense, you have to finish the game. But more than anything, we're just looking for that growth, for those incremental improvements just to show that progress.”

Speak up, Dennis Allen!
uot;É another positive step in the right direction", said technician Dennis Allen. middle of the day, and let's be smart about it. We'll be cautious with that, let's make sure we give him every opportunity to get it right. I don't think it's going to be a long period of time, but we're not going to put it back there; untilé make sure he is á 100 percent ready.
"We will evaluate it this afternoon and until " in the morning; to see where he is; and how are you? feeling, and then we'll make a decision probably (Wednesday) morning."
"I think they're trying to be smart, I'm trying to be smart, going into the season feeling as good as I can feel," he said. now I've done a good job of maintaining and managing it. Untill; this point, my knee is very well.
"É It's a tough game because, as a professional athlete, you're a professional athlete. want to get those repetitions, want to improve, are; always trying to work on something. When youê is not; achieving, youê need to get them mentally É It's a tough balance not being able to do all the reps, and then being smart on the other side and taking care of your body and making sure you're on the right track. is á learning from the things youê is á watching.
"I definitely feel good. I've never gone through this process before. It was always like 'I go'." So é a little different for me, but even é now I think it's been good."
"I think he's had a good camp, as I've seen since I got here," said Allen, who returned to the Saints in 2015 and has been with the organization every season for Kamara, who was called up in 17 . . "I think he isá mentally well, he seems exceptionally explosive. He's in the best form, in the best conditions. I like where he is."
"It's all part of the training," he said. "I think there is; a hardness that comes along with having to fight in the heat. Type, not é easy. No é easy. And having to struggle mentally, I think, é good for your soccer team.
"I think youê can take advantage of this at points in the season when they face adversity. But I also think there are; a balance in which you need to recover them a bit and I think é rather than this week.''
"I think we have the right leader, (three-time All-Pro linebacker) Demario Davis," Mathieu said. "He is; constantly pushing us every day. I think we also have great coaches - between (defensive co-coordinators) Ryan (Nielsen) and Kris (Richard), really two of the best minds we've ever had; got to know the defensive side, really outside of Todd Bowles."
"I think the sky é the limit, (with) everyone we have," Lattimore said. "In the back end, we have linebackers, the front end - we have everything we need to be a dominant defense. We have to go every week and do what we have to do.'
How do the Saints arrive?
