Giants looking to end a losing streak
The New York Giants are 6-20 against the Super Bowl runners-up when they play the following season.
Last year, the Giants were crushed by the 49ers 36-9 at MetLife Stadium. The loss was the Giants' third in a row against teams defeated in the previous Super Bowl. His most recent victory was on December 2, 2007 against the Bears in Chicago.
Defenses that have struggled and allow lots of yards
The Giants defense has played pretty poorly and struggled throughout the season: Teddy Bridgewater threw for 264 yards and two TDs while Denver racked up 420 yards of offense in Week 1. Taylor Heinicke completed 34 of 46 for 336 yards and two TDs to help Washington gain 407 yards. Matt Ryan, Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford also wrecked the Giants. Their only good performance thus far came last week, when Carolina was held to 173 yards.
While the Kansas City Chiefs have two fairly clear indicators of their defense, such as turnovers and sacks. Well, the Chiefs are near the bottom of the league with seven sacks and tied for last with Jacksonville with eight sacks, so it's going to be a lot of yards and points.
Inactive Giants
Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard are ACTIVE for today.

New York Giants
The New York Giants are 2-5 coming off a solid win over Carolina, but they have only won two games this season. Their offense has a slew of top players injured, including a prolonged ankle injury to star running back Saquon Barkley, and the defense just lost safety Jabrill Peppers to a torn knee ligament.
If the Giants are going to head on, the time is now and it couldn't be much better.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-4 near the bottom of the league with a minus 10 turnover differential, and their defense, both on the ground and in the air, has been playing badly. They are coming off a 27-3 beating from Tennessee, and losses to the Bills, Chargers and Ravens mean they have lost in the playoff to almost everyone ahead of them.
It's the beginning of a streak in which Kansas City plays five of six home games with a bye week.

This is how the Giants arrive
The Giants beat the Panthers last week without star RB Saquon Barkley and WR Kenny Golladay. Those two came out again this week and WR Sterling Sheppard and TE Evan Engram are questionable. But the Giants surprised the Panthers without all of those players except Engram. Daniel Jones threw for 203 yards with a TD and rushed for 28 yards. Devontae Booker rushed for 51 yards on 14 attempts with a TD, but it was defense that was history.
There is no question that injuries have hampered the Giants. Last week's win was their first at home after losing to Denver 27-13, Atlanta 17-14 and the Rams 38-11. New York's other win was at New Orleans in overtime 27-21 on October 3.

QB Daniel Jones
The Giants have a pretty good passing game, although that's partly due to the fact that they have a lot behind them. They're averaging just 91.7 rushing yards per game and in order for them to be successful against the Chiefs, they need to get better on the field. Putting pressure on Mahomes is essential but not impossible considering that his offensive line has not been clear.
Jones is completing 63.5% of his passes for 1,727 yards with five TDs and four picks. He also has 229 rushing yards with two TDs. The good news for Jones is that Kadarius Toney and Shepard could return for this game.
This is how the Chiefs arrive
The previous week's loss came after a 31-13 win at Washington. But the Chiefs have lost two straight games at home, falling to the Bills 38-20 and the Chargers on Sept. 26. Their only home win was in Game 1 over Cleveland 33-29 and that was a long-suffering victory. Right now, for the Chiefs to get back on track for the playoffs, they need to improve their turnover differential of minus 10, which is tied for last in the league. Kansas City has committed 17 horrendous turnovers and that doesn't help when their defense is allowing 404.6 yards per game and 276 yards in the air.
Edwards-Helaire still leads the Chiefs in rushing with 304 yards, but is out indefinitely with a knee injury. Tyreek Hill leads with 52 receptions for 641 yards and five touchdowns, while TE Travis Kelce has 45 receptions for 533 yards and four touchdowns. After that, the production leaves a receiver.
TOMORROW NIGHT 🔥 pic.twitter.com/z271FZk1rd
— Kansas City Chiefs (@Chiefs) November 1, 2021
QB Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahones threw for 206 yards last week with an INT and produced no touchdown against the Titans. He also comes into this game with nine interceptions and has lost four balls while throwing for 2,092 yards and 18 TDs. Last week, he was the leading running back with 35 yards and not having Clyde Edwards-Helaire hasn't helped at all.
But the revamped offensive line is competing well. The offense went scoreless in the first half last week against the Titans, who were up 27-0 at the half. The rushing defense kept the Tennessee limited to just 103 yards, but the passing defense gave up 266 yards in the air to Ryan Tannehill and company.
The match will be played at Arrowhead Stadium
Arrowhead Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, is a football and soccer stadium in the city of Kansas City, with a capacity of 79,451 people.
The Kansas City Chiefs play their home games there. Fans usually refer to him as "The Red Sea" or simply as "Arrowhead".
Construction of Arrowhead Stadium was completed for the 1972 season. On August 12, 1972, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 24-14, in the first game held at the new building.
