Next weekend will be another round - inside the Georgia Dome once again! Watch for an article recapping tonight's racing very soon, and the LIVE for next weekend's Atlanta Supercross

Thank you very much for following along tonight, during some fantastic racing inside the Georgia Dome of Atlanta, Georgia

With tonight's live coverage done as the racing concludes, and quotes from the top three 450 finishers below, it is time to close out this LIVE of the eighth round of the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross season.

Ryan Dungey: "I'm happy, we put a hard charge in, and I can't thank everyone enough."

Trey Canard: "You have to ride crazy when [you don't get a good start]. Bummed for Kenny, I think we moved up in points a bit, but you never want to do it that way. Happy for Chad, as well."

Chad Reed: "Really, really happy, that was a strong 20 laps. I think I held my breath on and off."

Notable: that was Chad Reed's 44th Supercross win, and his second inside the Georgia Dome

450 main event, CHECKERS: Chad Reed wins in Atlanta

450 main event, FINAL LAP: White flag for Reed, working his way to the checkered flag!

450 main event, 3 to go: Chad Reed continues to lead here in Atlanta. He hasn't won in 385 calendar days - over a year ago. Dungey closing in on him, though; the lead has dropped to 1.3 seconds. Time is running out for Dungey, but Reed's stamina through the main events this year has not been stellar, even when he was in first, second, or third in the opening laps. He has stayed at the front throughout this main - very impressive, definitely something he needed to change, and it's working for him.

450 main event, 6 to go: Roczen still jumping the triples and everything, even with his huge ejection laps ago and his massive crash earlier today in practice. Reed continues to hold a 3 second lead. Dungey and Canard are running in podium positions; it would be Dungey's seventh-straight podium finish in eight rounds of racing this year. That's consistency, if I've ever heard of it.

450 main event, 8 to go: Nicoletti has dropped to 12th after running second on the first lap. Baggett runs 8th on his Yoshimura Suzuki

450 main event, lap 10 of 20: Reed's lead is now down to 3.1 seconds, as Dungey cuts a second off it in the last lap. Incredible action so far at the halfway point. Canard by Peick for third. A three-rider fight for the win may be coming.

450 main event, lap 9 of 20: Dungey and Peick are battling, as Canard continues to catch these two, who run secona and third. Peick's career best is fourth - looks like he may beat that tonight. Reed with a 4.1 second lead over Dungey - fantastic ride by him. Roczen stopped by his mechanic, then went back out; his handlebars are very bent.

450 main event, lap 6 of 20: Eli Tomac goes down hard at the fastest part of the track - the front straight! His jersey sleeve rolled up, and he has some serious road rash on that left arm - ROCZEN DOWN! Huge crash for Ken Roczen whose leg was already injured! Massive, massive crash. He is shown in 19th.

450 main event, lap 5 of 20: Roczen up to 11th. Tomac, Seely, Canard running 4, 5, 6, all Honda riders.

450 main event, lap 3: Reed, Peick, Dungey, Nicoletti, Seely the top five!

450 main event, lap 2: Points leader Dungey runs fourth after the first lap. Roczen is 15th on lap one. Peick into second, by Nicoletti! Dungey now up to third, as he goes by Nicoletti himself.

450 main event, lap 1: Reed up the inside and into the lead through the first corner! He's already got a great lead over the pack! Can he hold it tonight? Nicoletti runs second - fantastic start for him as he fills in for Barcia for another weekend.

The 450 engines have been started! 20 laps of the top 22 Supercross riders in the world is about to go down inside the Georgia Dome in Atlanta!

Gate drop of the 450 main event is next.

Before the final race tonight, the 450 main event, head over to Twitter and let us know who YOU think will take the checkers. @RacingOnVAVEL

Interviews with the top 250 finishers have concluded at the podium. That means it's time for the 450s to have their main event - the final race of the night!

Podium interviews are next for the top finishers in that entertaining 250 East main event. After last weekend's racing in Arlington that was dominated by Musquin, it was fantastic to have some very tight racing in the 250 class!

250 main event, CHECKERS: Fantastic performance by Jeremy Martin, the rider out of Millville, Minnesota, winning the 250 East main event inside the Georgia Dome in Atlanta!

250 main event, FINAL LAP: Martin is on his way to his first win in 2015.

250 main event: 2 to go: By passing Bogle for second as he just did, Musquin moves back into the points lead. Martin gets the white flag!

250 main event, 2 to go: Bogle, Martin, and Musquin all have a shot at a mian event win tonight - Martin to the lead, already has a gap over the other two!

250 main event, 4 to go: Bogle gets by Davalos who drops all the way down to fourth. These top four are getting to lappers and a red cross flag/blinking lights on a triple, forcing them to single-single-single.

250 main event, 6 to go: Davalos continues to fight to put Husqvarna to the top step of the podium - for the first time since inside the Astro Dome in 2001. In 2001, it was a 125 West win by Preston on a Husqvarna

250 main event, lap 9 of 15: Bogle has closed in on Davalos, but now Musquin and Martin are all separated by four seconds! Any of the top four could win this main event! Musquin misses a triple and that allows Martin by!

250 main event, lap 6 of 15: Davalos leads Bogle by 0.7 seconds. Musquin is 2.6 seconds behind leader Davalos. Martin, in fourth, is 3.6 seconds back, but closing in on Musquin

250 main event, lap 5 of 15: Martin Davalos has a shot at a main event win, but with Bogle and Musquin not far behind him, he needs to go fast and will inevitably be battling with them toward the later stages of the race. One third of the main event is gone.

250 main event, lap 3 of 15: Davalos, Bogle, Friese, Musquin, Lemoine are the top five. Musquin gets by Friese for third!

250 main event, lap 2 of 15: Musquin has a few riders to get through to get to the podium and the lead, as he was 6th across the holeshot line.

15 laps of the top 22 250 East riders storms out of the gate!

It's main event time in Atlanta!

450 LCQ, FINAL LAP: Weimer, Wey, Freeberg, Clason are the final four additions to the 450 main event. Weimer wins his second LCQ of 2015.

450 LCQ, lap 1: Weimer, Wey, Albertson, Freeberg to the top four, into the transfer positions.

LCQ time for the 450s - then main events.

450 semi 2, CHECKERS: The four riders mentioned below are headed to the main. Jake Weimer will have to deal with the last chance qualifier.

450 semi 2, FINAL LAP: Tickle, Millsaps, Baggett, R. Stewart, Hill will be five more added to the 450 main event.

450 semi 2, lap 1: The top three through the first few corners are R. Stewart, Tickle, and Tapia. Millsaps up into second now.

Semi 2 in the gates.

450 semi 1, CHECKERS: The five riders mentioned below are headed to the main event for the 450s.

450 semi 1, lap 2: Short, Seely, Alessi, Chisholm, Grant are in the top five, and the transfer positions. Two laps to go.

250 LCQ, FINAL LAP: Rodriguez, Kiesel, Audette, K. Peters are the top four.

250 LCQ, lap 1: Rodriguez credited with the holeshot. A few bike lengths separate the top four already. Only four laps.

Time for the LCQ for the 250s! 30 second board sideways... gate drop! Four will got to the main!

With the heat races over, the final handfuls of spots are up for grabs in each of the two main events. Who do you think has the upper hand tonight? Let us know at the VAVEL Racing Twitter: @RacingOnVAVEL

The LCQ for the 250s is set to go, and the semis are ready for the 450s before their LCQ. Great racing so far tonight. If you're enjoying this LIVE coverage, let us know at @RacingOnVAVEL on Twitter!

450 heat 2, CHECKERS: Canard wins the final heat race of the night. The transfer positions go to the four riders mentioned below.

450 heat 2, FINAL LAP: Canard, Reed, Roczen, Nicoletti in the top four, who will transfer to the main. Incredible final few corners for Roczen and Reed; Roczen launches his RCH Suzuki off the wall jump to the front straight, very high in the air, but Reed was able to gain the position back in the final corner!

450 heat 2, lap 3: Canard gets by Reed for the lead. Either one of them could win this heat race! Roczen is not far behind these two.

450 heat 2, lap 1: Reed, Canard, Enticknap the top three off the start! Roczen now third! Seely and Millsaps fell in the first corner. Reed continue to lead.

Time for the final heat race of the night. Roczen, who hurt his leg in practice earlier today, is at the gates. His crash saw him nearly go over the bars, jumping off the track out of control, and into the wall of the Georgia Dome floor at a high speed. Very scary crash; great to see him at the gates and it will be interesting to see how he performs. Reed, Millsaps, Canard, Seely, Baggett, and the rest of the 450 Supercross class will be in this heat.

450 heat 1, CHECKERS: Dungey, Tomac, Peick, Anderson are the first four to go to the 450 main event. 18 more to be added!

450 heat 1, FINAL LAP: Dungey continues to lead Tomac and the rest of the field of heat one. Tomac may not have a chance to catch up to the consistent KTM rider.

450 heat 1, lap 1: Dungey and Tomac to the front. Points leader Dungey starts the night off on the right foot in the lead of his heat race, already looking strong. Tomac has been quick all day.

The 450s are lined up at the gates for their first on-track action of tonight. It'll be heat one for the 450 Supercross class, coming up next!

250 heat 2, FINAL LAP: Musquin into ninth position for a transfer position, while Davalos takes the win.

250 heat 2, 2 to go: Musquin has two riders in front of him; with a lap and a half remaining, if he passes them, he's got a transfer position.

250 heat 2, lap 3 of 6: Davalos ahead of J. Martin and Bogle. Musquin is back in 15th.

250 heat 2, lap 1: J. Martin, Davalos at the front, Musquin taken out! He's got a lot of work to do; looks like he'll be headed to the LCQ tonight.

Time for heat two! The second race of the night is about to have gate drop.

Heat two for the 250s is in the gates. Before gate drop, head over to Twitter and follow the VAVEL Racing account: @RacingOnVAVEL

The tracks this year have been some of the best ever for Supercross, and looking at the track maps for the rest of the season, this will continue. Very impressive track work.

With recaps directly below and the top points standings for each class further down, this begins analysis-time before the gates drop tonight in Atlanta

450 Supercross Arlington main event recap:

The 450 main event saw a holeshot from points leader Ryan Dungey on his KTM, with Millsaps just behind in second, and Baggett behind them both in third. Baggett soon lost two spots to Roczen and Canard, who became second and third, respectively. Before the halfway point of the race, Chad ReedEli Tomac, and Cole Seely each had falls, losing positions on the track; Millsaps even went down, looping out his Kawasaki on the downside of the wall jump before the finish line, allowing Canard by. Dungey, who had the lead from the very first corner, ran perfect laps all race long, opening up a massive gap between he and Ken Roczen, with the help of lapped riders. With a lead of over six seconds and counting, Ryan Dungey closed out the final race of the night with his second win of 2015. After last weekend's win, he has a 12 point lead over Ken Roczen in second, and 23 over third place of Canard, and he heads into two rounds in at Atlanta with the red plate on his KTM, signifying his points lead.

250 East Arlington main event recap:

The main event for the 250 East class, their first of the year, saw Marvin Musquin immediately steal to the front on his KTM, getting a massive lead over Geico Honda's Justin Bogle and the rest of the field. His lead was getting larger and larger as the laps went on - reaching 6 seconds, before the red flag came out. The second red flag of the night in AT&T Stadium came with 7 laps complete out of 15. Cunningham had crashed hard, and spent a long time on the ground with the Asterisk medical crew before coming to his feet. Since seven laps had already been completed, rather than a full restart of the race, it was a staggered restart on the front straight of the technical track. The riders lined up tire to tire before the green flag flew and the final half of the race was completed. After the restart, Musquin gained another large lead on the field, with Bogle running second once again. Musquin continued to click off consistent and near perfect laps on his KTM, taking the win in the season opener for the east group of the 250 class.
