The front row of the GT-only Oak Tree Grand Prix at Virginia International Raceway has been swept by the pair of GTLM Porsche 911 RSRs.

GT Le Mans

Nick Tandy led his Porsche North America teammate Joerg Bergmeister to a 1-2 result in the GTLM class qualifying session.

Tandy's best lap of 1:42.532 in the No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR was good enough for the GTLM pole, with the sister No. 912 car just 0.097-seconds behind.

After leading all day Friday, the No. 62 Ferrari F458 Italia of Risi Competizione qualified third with Pierre Kaffer at the wheel. Behind the Ferrari and completing the top-five were the pair of BMW Team RLL Z4 GTEs, driven by Lucas Luhr and Bill Auberlen in qualifying.

Sixth and seventh on the GTLM grid will be the pair of Corvette Racing C7.Rs; the No. 3, driven by Jan Magnussen, qualified 0.029-seconds ahead of the No. 4 of Oliver Gavin.

Behind the Corvettes and last in the GT Le Mans category will be the Team Falken Tire Porsche, as Bryan Sellers qualified the car 1.602-seconds slower than the polesitting Porsche of Tandy.

GT Daytona

Dion von Moltke earned the GTD pole in the No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Audi R8 LMS. He and Christopher Haase will be starting from the pole for their third time in the last four GT Daytona races.

Von Moltke's fastest lap of qualifying was a 1:49.255, which was almost matched by Patrick Lindsey in the No. 73 Park Place Motorsports Porsche 911 GT America; Lindsey's best lap was just 0.010-seconds slower than the polesitting Audi.

Starting third in GTD will be Bill Sweedler in the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia GT3.

Behind him, Ben Keating of the Dodge Viper SRT of Riley Motorsports and Christina Nielsen of the TRG-AMR Aston Martin V12 Vantage completed the top-five in GTD qualifying.
