The first leg of this series was Landon Donovan's last game in Rio Tinto Stadium ever but RSL and their fans didn't seem to care. They shut out the MLS great and his team to get a 0-0 draw. Both teams are hoping for the best on Sunday.

Earlier this year, Landon Donovan promised that the Galaxy would win the MLS Cup this year. Real Salt Lake hopes to spoil the promise, wanting to beat the Galaxy in the Semi-Finals for the second year in a row.

Multiple articles have gone out discussing who has the advantage between the two teams going into the second round of this matchup. Some have said Salt Lake. Some have said the Galaxy. Some have said neither team does. We'll all see who does this Sunday.

One thing that does give RSL a slight advantage is the new Away Goal rule this year. If RSL wins or has a scoring draw, then they go through to the next round. If it's a LA win, then the Galaxy goes through to the Western Conference Final. A scoreless draw will send the match to extra time.

RSL has confidence coming into this next match. To the team, they played really well. The stats agree with them. RSL had 16 shots while the Galaxy had three. Real Salt Lake had six shots on target while LA had only 1. While eight of their shots were off target, RSL had two shots blocked, although that stat doesn't agree with Penedo's six saves during the game.

Jeff Cassar said “I’m extremely confident in our team.  I thought we played a great game on both sides of the ball tonight.  Obviously their goalkeeper had a very, very good night and on a different night we could be in an unbelievable position.  But right now we’re in a great position, especially with these away goals.  If we’re going to create this many chances in LA, then I give us a really good chance.”

LA does have a different advantage: Home Field. While Real isn't excited for the game on Sunday, they will be ready. “There’s definitely no comfort going in, because they are very good at home.  When you’re at home in this league, you have an initial boost of energy, so I think those first 15-20 minutes is really important, so we got to be ready for that.  We’ve got to come out flying and hopefully if we get that early goal, we can put that pressure on them.” Nat Borchers said.

If we all can agree on one thing, it should be this game will be very interesting.
