As of Thursday, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined four players for incidents during last weeks matches in Round 17 of the MLS season. Headlining the bundle of players who have all been fined an undisclosed amount, is New England Revolution's Kelyn Rowe. 

Rowe has been fined an undisclosed amount for violating league policy, regarding putting his hands to the neck of an opponent. This happened in their last outing against Columbus Crew SC. The Revolution ended up losing that game by a score of 2-1. The incident happened in the 39th minute, when Toni Tchani committed a foul in the midfield, and Rowe took exception my shoving Tchani away by his neck.

Also being fined is Columbus Crew SC midfielder Federico Higuain. Higuain has been fined for a simulation incident, coming out of their previous 2-1 win over the Revolution. This particular incident came in the 33rd minute. Higuain was given the ball by Justin Meram. Higuain proceeded to cut inwards, and Revolution defender Jose Goncalves puts his right foot out to attempt to play the ball.

A third player being fined by the Disciplinary Committee is Toronto FC defender Damien Perquis. Perquis was fined for embellishment in the 32nd minute. This came after Toronto FC drew 0-0 with DC United on the road.

Bringing up the end of the fined players is Real Salt Lake defender Demar Phillips. Phillips was fined for time wasting. This came in the 55th minute of play in Salt Lake's 1-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls, when Phillips received a red card. He proceeded to leave the pitch in a timely manner. 

All of these players have been fined an undisclosed amount, and will be avaliable for team selection this weekend when Matchweek 18 kicks off on Friday, July 3 when the Houston Dynamo takes on the Chicago Fire.
