A very hastily ending to the 2014 MLS All-Star Game saw head coach Caleb Porter shake hands with Casper the Ghost. As the MLS All-Stars took on Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich, the fun and games of a friendly match, suddenly turned into a fiasco of tension and emotion. Most of it coming from Bayern gaffer, Josep "Pep" Guardiola

The MLS All-Stars defeated Bayern Munich by a score of 2-1, with goals coming from Landon Donovan and Bradley Wright-Phillips. Bayern consolation goal was credited to Robert Lewandowski

Sure it was a fun game to watch, up until things started to get a little chippy. Once instance was when Portland Timbers captain Will Johnson came in on a tackle to take down Bastian Schweinsteiger. Bastian was then left in a heap of pain and was forced off the field. The other was a late --and possible red card offense-- challenge by Seattle Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso who went right through the legs of Xherdan Shaqiri

Guardiola, already heated from the sidelines, exchanged words with Porter about the tackles. Not to mention, Pep had just gotten back about half of the Munich squad, who participated in the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil. Not under his jurisdiction for more than 24 hours, and they're leaving the field with injuries? It was understandable where the frustration is coming from.

But it's what happened after the match that things got kind of heated and unprofessional on the visiting side.

As the final whistle blew, All-Star coach Caleb Porter walked toward the center to exchange handshakes with Guardiola. Pep gave Porter the ol' Dikembe Mutombo finger wag. In fact, none of the Munich coaching staff shook hands with the All-Star staff.

Porter continued to at least get a "Good game" phrase out to Josep, but that didn't work either. While arriving to shake the hands of the officials, Porter made one last attempt, but failed.

There are many different arguments to the gesture by Guardiola. Some say he was right, some say it was unprofessional.

It's a friendly Pep. Just shake hands and move on.

According to U.S. Soccer Federation president, Sunil Gulati, things were straightened out and the two shook hands. Gulati tweeted saying:

"All good with Pep Guardiola and Caleb Porter. With them for nice handshake outside the locker room after the game. #MLSAllStar"

Social media also cracked jokes about how MLS should invite Bayern Munich again the following November for another match due to it’s' "rivalry."

Will we see Bayern Munich featured in a future MLS All-Star game?
