Columbus Crew star striker Kei Kamara has overcome his leg injury to start in the 2015 Audi MLS Cup Final against the Portland Timbers. Kamara had been ruled as a game time decision after landing awkwardly and sustaining a right leg injury in training on Saturday.
The man who tied with Sebastian Giovinco for the league lead in goalscoring with 22 is fit for the league's showpiece occasion. He will be the focal point of attack for Columbus, and wll be hoping to link up with Justin Meram, Federico Higuain and Ethan Finlay up front as he has all season long.
The full Columbus starting XI is as follows:
Steve Clark (GK)
Harrison Afful-Michael Parkhurst (C)-Gaston Sauro-Waylon Francis
Tony Tchani-Wil Trapp
Justin Meram-Federico Higuain-Ethan Finlay
The Columbus attack has been superb all season long. They boast two international strikers in Meram and Kamara, one of the league's premier attacking midfielders in Higuain and probably its best out and out winger in Finlay.
Meanwhile, Portland is at full strength as well. Center back Liam Ridgewell is fit for the match after missing out on the second leg against FC Dallas in the Conference Final.
The full Portland starting XI is as follows:
Adam Kwarasey (GK)
