Brayan Angulo has started with his goalscoring account, he is a player with physical power and unbalanced.

He has already scored two goals in the current tournament and he will try to reaffirm himself as a forceful forward.

Monterey's key player

Funes Mori's contribution goes beyond the fact of scoring, in some matches he has not been able to score but he does not stop participating in most of Monterrey's attacking plays.

In the last game he gave a great assistance for Ake Loba, besides crashing several balls in the post.

From less to more

The Rayados have found the formula to be able to score goals, they have won twice in a row and have not lost since the second matchday.

The Monterrey striker was up to the task of coming back from the previous match, which they started losing by one goal to Juarez.

However, a strong Ake Loba, who made up for the absence of Vincent Janssen, came out in the second half to score two goals and give his team the victory.

Ups and downs on the northern border

Tijuana has not had a good first half of the tournament, it's in 14th place in the general table, so it is two places away from the qualifying zone.

In its last game it lost by a score of 3-0 against the Pumas; they had clear options that did not materialize, they missed a penalty and in added time they received an unusual half-court goal.

They will have to start adding units if they aspire to enter the playoffs of the current competition.
