With goals by Mathew Leckie, Frank Karacic and Martin Boyle, Australia defeated Nepal 3-0.

After this result, in Group B, the Socceroos remain leaders with 21 points, while the Gorkhalis occupy the fourth position with six points.

On Tuesday, against Jordan, the Australian team - which qualified for the next stage a few days ago - will finish its participation in the second round; on the other hand, the Nepalese team has already played its last match and was eliminated.

Great individual play by Hrustic that Karacic finishes with a cross-shot to increase his team's lead.

Hrustic's free kick was sent for a corner kick by Kiran after a good two-handed save. Australia were back in front of goal.

For the moment, Australia keeps possession of the ball, but still fails to generate more danger.

With this goal, Australia is defeating Nepal.

The Gorkhalis are in fourth place in the same group, with seven points from two wins, zero draws and five losses.
Earlier this week, they were beaten 3-0 by Jordan.

The Socceroos lead Group B with 18 points from six victories. So far, they only know how to win.

Last Monday, they thrashed Chinese Taipei 5-1, with goals from Harry Souttar, Jamie Maclaren, Trent Sainsbury and Mitechell Duke.

The second round of the competition is made up of 40 teams, which are divided into eight groups of five, with the leaders of each section and the four best runners-up advancing to the next stage.

The Australia vs Nepal match will be played at the Internacional Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium, in Kuwait. The kick-off is scheduled at 12:00 pm ET.
