Canada: A new opportunity

The Canadian women's soccer team won the bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and today they have a literal golden opportunity to turn that medal into gold. The Canadians started with a draw against the hosts, followed by a win against Chile and another draw against Great Britain. With five points, the Canadians qualified for the quarterfinals as second place in their group. In the semifinals and against all odds, Canada defeated the United States thanks to a penalty kick goal in the 75th minute. Now they will have to eliminate one of the best teams in the tournament if they want the gold medal.

Sweden: Great tournament

Sweden was one of the teams that had the most attention in the women's soccer tournament of the Olympic Games, however it was a great surprise for many to have reached the final.

The Scandinavians are undefeated in the competition and started off on the right foot with three victories, confirming their access to the quarterfinals as top of their group.

Sweden are coming from beating Australia in a tough match that ended 0-1 thanks to Rolfo's goal. Now they will be looking for the gold medal.
