Statements - Graham Potter (Brighton)

"No fresh injury concerns. We're still without Danny Welbeck, Dan Burn and Tariq Lamptey. Tariq is still doing his rehab. With a bit of luck after the international break, we might see a bit more of him."

"I've been speaking about Yves Bissouma for some time and he's still here! He's happy and he's smiling and he wants to play."

"We're two years into this journey, and we want to keep going and keep improving. The players have come back to pre-season with a really good attitude and we're excited for the new season.

"Last year we got away with a draw at Burnley, but they should have won the game. Games against them are always tight. They're a good side. With two teams fighting for the points, it will be interesting."

Statements - Sean Dyche (Burnley)

“I think people trust me. I don’t say it to cover any tracks. It just is a re-set. Every season is a new season, it’s a new challenge”.

“The market shifts sometimes, teams shift sometimes. You have to go and earn the right again. But they are the things that wet your whistle, they are the things that get you up in the morning to go ‘right, here’s the challenge".

“That bond and the connection as a collective – including the supporters being a big part of that and coming back into the stadiums – is all important. So, everyone has got to keep their noses in the right direction. It’s something to be enjoyed but it’s also something to build on and be hungry for more. I’m certainly hungry for more".

Burnley aiming for better things than last season

The Clarets are looking for a better season than the recent one, in which they finished seventeenth. Although the difference with Fulham was ten points, the team could not aspire to more, at least to have a better position, and that will be the main task of Sean Dyche, who will be in his tenth season in charge of the team.
