Changing the mentality
The technical director of the United States, Gregg Berhalter, acknowledged that they have found it hard to generate danger and score those goals, but that now they have to turn the page to think about the game against the Catrachos and get their first win of the octagonal.
"In the end, what counts is that we suffered the loss of an important point on our field and now we must recover as quickly as possible because we have another trip to Honduras, where on Wednesday we will be playing for another three very important points".
Likewise, the coach accepted that they have not given their best version and it is normal the criticism they have received, although he expressed that much of it is about coordination and that they will work more on it so that it is reflected on the playing field.
"It is true that there was a lack of coordination and knowing how to find each other when we had to attack. It's understandable that in the end we didn't put on the best show," he said.
Several absentees
The Stars and Stripes will have some absences for this match, such as the absence of Sergiño Dest due to injury, in addition to Zack Sttefen due to COVID-19, Gio Reyna also due to injury and the much-criticized Weston McKennie, who broke health protocols by attending a party and has already had to leave for Europe.

Much has been said that this is the golden generation of the United States, but in two games the collective system has left much to be desired and they have had to settle for 0-0 draws against El Salvador as visitors, and last Sunday's 1-1 draw at home against Canada.
