This Wednesday afternoon, in Portugal, Sporting Lisboa and Besiktas will face each other for the second time in the current competition; both want to close the gap to continue aspiring to qualify to the next round or -at least- to stay in third place in the sector to advance to the Europa League play-offs.

It should be recalled that these two teams are in the third group, together with Ajax (Netherlands) and Borussia Dortmund (Germany).

The current edition of the Champions League, which kicked off several weeks ago, is the 67th in history. This week, the fourth week of the group stage is underway.
