The New York Red Bulls look to clinch a playoff spot for the 12th straight season when they visit Nissan Stadium to face Nashville SC.

New York has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence over the last two months, climbing from the depths of the Eastern Conference to stand on the cusp of the MLS Playoffs with a win or draw giving them a postseason berth.

The Black and Gold are assured of a home match and can clinch the second seed with a win or a loss or draw by Philadelphia against NYCFC.

Team news

Nashville will only be missing Daniel Rios, out with an ankle injury and Taylor Washington, who is in the league's health and safety protocols.

The Red Bulls are without Aaron Long due to an Achilles injury and striker Patryk Klimala, suspended due to yellow card accumulation. Omir Fernandez is questionable with a hamstring issue.

Predicted lineups

Nashville SC: Willis; Zimmerman, Romney, Maher; Lovitz, Muyl, Anunga, Godoy, Johnston; Mukhtar, Sapong

New York Red Bulls: Coronel; Reyes, Nealis, Edwards; Duncan, Yearwood, Davis, Clark; Royer, Fabio, Casseres Jr.

Ones to watch

Joe Willis (Nashville SC)

The goalkeeper is tied for the MLS lead in shutouts with 13 and along with a dependable back-line, is part of a defense that is tied with Seattle and the Red Bulls for the fewest goals allowed in the league with 32.
