Sérgio Conceição!
Sérgio Conceição, Porto's coach, was categorical in saying that he's going for the three points, as well as talking about Evanilson: "It doesn't depend on us, we have to do our job and we're going to Amoreira to win. Of course he's developed. Like all players who come to FC Porto from different leagues, it's not an easy process, even for us as a coaching staff. We're very demanding. At the beginning, there are challenges that I don't think are easy for the players. It takes them out of their comfort zone. As in any profession, when you take people out of their routine, you awaken something in them. So it becomes a habit to work within those demands, in positions that are fundamental to me. He's a technically advanced player, he's above average, but sometimes you need more in attacking connections, which could make him an even more complete player. Then you have to figure out whether you're playing with a teammate alongside you or with just one man up front, figure out what space you should get into in those circumstances... All this takes time. The players have a path in their training, with some freedom, depending on how comfortable they are. I'm happy with the evolution. For well-meaning people, the difficult can be positive. For others, maybe not. I'm always a bit... Well, it's difficult. In terms of character, I'm not someone who laughs around here. When it comes to work, even more so. I'm very attentive to all the details, to the people who accompany them, to their weight. Everything they do on and off the pitch, before and after training. Sometimes something comes up in training that some take better, others less well. Within this relationship, it's a bit uncomfortable. When I was a player, I wouldn't have wanted a coach like me [laughs], but that's my thing. We don't depend on ourselves. We have to do our job and win our games. Win this one in Estoril and look forward to the next ones. There's no point in doing any kind of futurology, in my opinion. Estoril, after the top four, are the team with the most goals. They play looking at the opponent's goal. We have to concentrate on ourselves so that we don't have any problems."
Probable Porto
Porto's probable team for the match is: Diogo Costa, João Mário, Pepe, Otávio and Wendell; Varela, Eustáquio and Pepê; Francisco Conceição, Galeno and Evanilson.
Probable Estoril
Estoril's probable team for the match is: Carne, Vital, Basso and Alvaro; Pina, Fernandes, Zanocelo and Gomes; Guitane, Cassiano and Tavares.
