Mario Götze has risen to prominence over the weeks and has become a leader in the midfield for the Granjeros; he also carried the team on his shoulders in Tuesday's Dutch Cup clash where he contributed a brace in PSV's win.

With two painful defeats against strong Eredivisie teams like Ajax and AZ Alkamaar, PSV have already moved five points behind the leaders and will try not to increase the gap this matchday; at least they are highly motivated after reaching the semifinals of the Dutch Cup with a 4-0 win over NEC in midweek.
